Why do this? 1. In case you can't purchase manufactured slug shells (emergency) and... 2. To save money - a box of 5 each 1 oz manufactured slugs cost about $5.00, so thats $1.00 per shell. Now by modding a box of multi-purpose shells you save some money. A box of 25 each MP shells cost about $10, so that about .40 cents per shell.
